The Needle-Type Housing Fiber-Optic pH Microsensor is a miniaturized optical chemical pH sensor designed for all research applications where a small tip size
(approx. 140 μm) is necessary.
PreSens fiber-optic pH microsensors are based on 140μm silica waveguides. To protect the small glass fiber tip against breaking, it is housed in a stainless steel needle. The fiber tip with its pH-sensitive coating has to be extended out of the steel needle for measurement.
Fiber cables with a standard length of 5 m are available. If a cable length of more than 5 m (maximum 60 m) is required, please contact our service team.
