The E-blocks RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) board allows you to easily incorporate RFID tags into an electronics system. The board includes an RFID module that communicates to Mifare, Icode and Ultralight cards at a distance of up to 10cm, using the onboard antenna, at frequencies of 13.56MHz. The board is shipped with 2 Mifare cards and 2 Icode cards for experimentation. The board is also designed for use with Hitag or EM type cards operating at 125KHz (with alternative module and external antenna fitted - not supplied). Further details of Hitag compatibility available on request. This board only operates with a 5V supply. This board is supported by Flowcode macros for reading and writing data to and from cards and tags.
